Body HENDERSON COUNTY—The former Chief of Police for the city of Payne Springs accepted a plea deal May 17, according to court documents. April Meadows accepted the deal after she was accused of money laundering and manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance last year.

Body CEDAR CREEK LAKE–East Cedar Creek Fresh Water Supply District’s (ECCFWSD) Board of Directors voted June 21 to approve a request for permission by the City of Payne Springs to build a city impound lot on district-owned land that the city leases.
