Now through July 23, customers at Brookshire’s, Super 1 Foods, Spring Market, and FRESH by Brookshire’s stores in Texas can donate by adding $1, $3, $5 or $10 donation coupons to their purchases at checkout.
All proceeds will benefit the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund and TEXSAR (Texas Search and Rescue), both groups helping provide critical aid to those affected by this tragedy.

GUN BARREL CITY—The Gun Barrel City Council met June 24 and heard updates from YNS Development Services Chief Executive Officer Steven Haynes. Haynes explained to the council and the audience that they would begin bringing in many loads of select fill to address the sandy soil and estimated that the grating would be complete by the end of July. Haynes also explained that they would soon begin a storm drain system and that Oncor has removed unnecessary poles and added new where applicable. Utilities would be installed soon.
