CEDAR CREEK LAKE–The body of an unidentified individual was reported to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Nov. 25. Individuals reported to dispatch that there was a body floating face down in the water.  
Passersby indicate they saw a body recovered from the water located between Lou’s Lou’s and Vernon’s Lakeside on State Highway 334 with HCSO, Texas DPS, ambulances and Texas Game Wardens on scene. 
At this time the body has not been identified. As of press time, the Texas Game Warden in charge of the investigation has not responded to The Monitor’s request for comment.
