Seven Points Police investigate bomb threat

SEVEN POINTS—At approximately 2:46 p.m. Oct. 14 the Seven Points Police Department received a call of a possible bomb threat at the O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Store located at 206 N. Seven Points Blvd.
According to the press release, Seven Points Officer J. Thompson responded to the call and evacuated O’Reilly’s and surrounding businesses to make sure that everyone was safe.
With the help from the Dallas office ATF, Seven Points Fire Department, Tool Emergency Service Department, Tool Police Department and Gun Barrel Police Department, the area was kept safe, and the building was found to be secure.
According to the Seven Points Police Department, the case is still open and is being investigated by the department. No further information is available at this time.
