The Seven Points City Hall is closed due to the damage from storms March 3. Mayor Keith Betts has acquired help from Hamilton 360 to remodel existing office space for the police department, city hall and municipal courts at 715 S. Seven Points Drive (State Highway 274). Betts is hopeful to have all work completed and departments moved into the building by Monday, March 17. Betts is working under a disaster proclamation so the work can be expedited. To reach city hall call (430) 477-1963 and for non police emergency call (903) 477-2051.

The March 3 60 mph winds continue to damage to the Seven Points City Hall. The early morning storm caused the roof to buckle and flood the police station. Later in the afternoon, when the winds increased the roof was torn off the top half of the building and laid to rest in the back, causing the electrical and telephone wires to be cut. All emergency calls were rerouted to Gun Barrel City Police Department.
