GRAND SALINE–The Mabank Lady Panthers continue their impressive run as they swept the Caddo Mills Lady Foxes in the Bi-district round at Grand Saline High School April 28 and 30.
In the best-of-three series, the Lady Panthers shutout the Lady Foxes 12-0 Thursday night before completing the sweep on Saturday afternoon with an 11-1 victory.
After going scoreless in the first two innings of game one, the Lady Panthers plated four runs in the bottom of the third inning to take a 4-0 lead.
Mabank then added a snowman in the bottom of the fourth inning as they crossed the plate eight times to increase their lead to 12-0.
Bailee Sales threw a complete game one-hitter on Thursday as she went five innings, striking out ten Caddo Mills batters.
Carlee Cline and Chloe Holland each had two hits for the Lady Panthers with Holland adding two RBIs in the win.
Hailey Ledbetter and Skyler Pruitt each knocked in two runs for Mabank against Caddo Mills. 
The Lady Panthers looked to complete the sweep with a win on Saturday afternoon.
Mabank plated a run in the top of the first inning with Caddo Mills plating in bottom half of the inning as the two teams sat tied 1-1 after one inning.
Mabank added two runs in the top of the second inning to take a 3-1 lead. The Lady Panthers added two more runs in the third inning to increase their lead to 5-1. 
The Lady Panthers exploded for six runs in the top of the fourth inning to put the game away with an 11-1 victory.
Kai Hudson got the win in the circle with five innings of work, striking out nine Caddo Mills batters while allowing one run on just four hits. Hudson added two hits at the plate for the Lady Panthers.
The Lady Panthers were led by Sales, who had three hits in the win.
Payton Nolen, Ashlyn Liles and Pruitt each had two RBIs Saturday afternoon. 
The win moves Mabank to 23-6-1 overall this season as they advance to the Area round.
Mabank will battle North Lamar in the Area round with game one at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 6 at Winnsboro High School. 
Game two will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7 with game three to follow if necessary.
