Randall Mays removed from death row

HENDERSON COUNTY–Randall Mays, 64 who was convicted to death in the killing of Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies Tony Ogburn and Paul Habelt in 2008, was removed from death row March 27, by a Texas Appeals Court.   
Mays sentence was reformed to life in prison without the possibility of parole, after the court applied a current legal definition of intellectual disability.

Gail Marie (Stone) Beaupré passed from this life March 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 4, 1935, in Easthampton, Mass., to Howard William and Mary Helen (Doig) Stone. 
Gail met the love of her life, Paul Ernest Beaupré, and they were married Aug. 30, 1958. 
Gail graduated from Holyoke Jr. College with an associate degree, working as a medical secretary for many years, and while Paul was getting his engineering degree, Gail also received PHT (Putting Hubbie Through).
