Water district plans GBC headquarters expansion

GUN BARREL CITY–The East Cedar Creek Fresh Water District (ECCFWSD) Board of Directors voted Jan. 21 to approve transferring $150,000 from the district’s improvement fund to its operating reserve, setting the stage to add an additional building to the current administrative office off Hammer Road, which will add capacity for administrative operations due to growth.

KAUFMAN–The Kaufman County Republican Party proudly hosted its 2nd biennial Lincoln Day Dinner Jan. 17 at the Kaufman Civic Center. This anticipated event brought together party members, local supporters and community leaders for an evening dedicated to celebrating Republican values and furthering the party’s mission within Kaufman County.
