Shirley Ann Hall Davis
Shirley Ann Hall Davis passed away peacefully and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on June 28, 2026, at the age of 79.
Born on May 19, 1947, in Taylorsville, WV, Shirley was the beloved daughter of Homer and Roberta Hall. Throughout her life, she was known for her kind heart, joyful spirit, and ability to make everyone around her feel welcomed and loved.
Shirley dedicated her professional career to General Dynamics, where she worked in the Personnel Department. After many years of faithful service, she retired and later moved to Cedar Creek Lake in 2021, where she enjoyed the beauty and peace of lakeside living.
Shirley found great joy in sewing and interior decorating, talents that reflected her creativity and eye for beauty. She especially treasured her morning coffee and lunch dates with her daughter, Jenece, moments that became cherished memories for both of them.
Anyone who knew Shirley knew that her presence could light up a room. Her warm smile, laughter, and caring nature brought joy to family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Shirley was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Edrenea Davis and sister Ruby Hall.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Roberta Jenece Davis; her sisters Sandra Hall and Marie Hall; her granddaughters, Joelene Mizer, Brittnee Austin-Kreymer, and Jakota Winkle; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A memorial service celebrating Shirley’s life will be held on July 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Arise Church of Mabank, located at 124 Peachtree Road, officiated by Pastor Larry Reneau.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Arise Church of Mabank.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Shirley is at peace in the arms of her Savior. Her love, kindness, and joyful spirit will remain with us always.
