BULLARD–The Mabank 6U girls All-Star team claimed third place in the 2026 NCS All-Stars District Tournament in Lindale, held May 30-31. The team played 5 games securing a record of 3-2 on the weekend. At Lindale, the team earned victories over Lindale White, Bullard Red and Gilmer.
Because of their hard work and victories, this advanced the 6U girls to the 2026 National Championship Sports (NCS) All-Stars State Tournament in Bullard, which was held June 6-7. The girls fought their way through the 6U silver bracket, playing seven games total — four of those games being back-to-back-to-back-to-back — to advance to the championship. The team battled to win Game 1 of the series, forcing the “if game” (Game 2) of the championship series. Mabank would go on take the loss in Game 2 of the championship to Bullard Red, but nonetheless, earned the title of Runner-Up.
At Bullard, victories for the Mabank 6U team were earned over Waskom, Longview and Bullard Red.
