Body KERENS—Kerens ISD (KISD) trustees voted April 22 to approve buying 150 Chromebook computers for students across all its campuses. KISD Business Manager Kaitlyn Cotten said the price from Dell Technologies is $44,500.

Body KERENS–Kerens ISD trustees voted Dec. 12 to approve resolutions conditionally approving two proposed agreements to limit appraised property values related to certain school taxes for two separate wind and solar projects planned within the district.

Body KERENS–Kerens ISD trustees voted Nov. 28 to approve a tax agreement under the Texas Economic Development Act for Elm Flats Solar, a proposed solar facility that is planned within the district near Powell. Kenny Berry voted no on the agreement while Matt Lynch abstained.
