CEDAR CREEK LAKE—The March 5 primary election for state, district and county office results are as follows. Results are as of press time at 11:08 p.m., March 5.  
In the Henderson County Commissioner Precinct 1 race Wendy Kinabrew Spivey won with 1,534 votes against Brad Skiles and Mike McCabe with 999 and 262 votes respectively.
Jason Ramsey secured the Constable Precinct 2 position with 1,988 votes against Francisco Gomez who earned 305 votes. In the Precinct 4 Constable race Paul Ellzey won with 1,899 votes against Frank Serrato who earned 669 votes. 
In Kaufman County, the race for Judge County Court of Law No. 1 had four candidates with Joseph Russell leading the race with 4,055 votes. Rick Harrison, Karen Badgley, and Deborah Bonner had 3,913, 3,318, and 1,945 votes respectively.
The race for Kaufman County Sheriff incumbent Bryan Beavers won against opponent Rodney Evans. Beavers secured 10,584 votes while Evans earned 4,275 votes. 
In the Kaufman County Commissioner Precinct 1 race incumbent Mike Hunt lost to Terry Crow with Hunt earning 1,593 votes. Crow earned 1,717 votes and Jimmy Joe Vrzalik earned 1,188 votes. The Kaufman County Commissioner Precinct 3 had two candidates, incumbent Terry Barber and Kelly Lane. Incumbent Terry Barber lost to Kelly Lane with 1,172 votes compared to Lane’s 1,749 votes. 
The Kaufman County Constable Precinct 4 race also had two candidates, incumbent Vanessa Brooks and Tell Walker. Brooks won the race with 2,448 votes against Walker’s 1,584 votes. 
The Texas Representative District 4 race in Henderson County ended with Incumbent Keith Bell earning 4,411 votes, Joshua Feuerstein earning 1,273 votes and democratic candidate Alex Bar-Sela earning 605 votes. In Kaufman County Keith Bell took the lead with 11,302 votes while Joshua Feuerstein earned 3,920 votes and Alex Bar-Sela earned 2,717 votes.
