Multiple agencies assist with Tool homicide case

TOOL—Multiple law enforcement agencies have been involved in an extensive investigation involving a homicide in Tool. According to a press release, the Tool Police Department responded to a call for service regarding a missing person within the city limits of Tool Aug. 1. The initial investigation swiftly revealed the need for a comprehensive search and led to a collaborative effort involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
Following an extensive investigation, which included crucial contributions from the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, the Henderson County District Attorney’s Office, the Texas Rangers, and the Seven Points Police Department, investigators successfully located the body of a deceased male within Tool city limits.
According to the release, the investigation, marked by relentless pursuit of leads and joint efforts across agencies, resulted in the arrest of Alyson Henson. Henson has been charged in connection with the homicide of the deceased male. The ongoing investigation aims to gather further details and establish the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
“Tool Police Department remains committed to transparency and justice. We extend our gratitude to all partner agencies for their tireless work and dedication. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses and more information becomes available,” states the department. 
Henson is currently in the Henderson County Jail with a $1,000,000 bond.
