Malakoff announces 18-3A volleyball All-District honors

MALAKOFF–The Malakoff Lady Tigers volleyball team announced their 18-3A All-District honors for the 2022 season Nov. 15.
The Malakoff Lady Tigers finished the season 22-18 overall and 7-7 in district play, finishing in fourth place and making an appearance in the Bi-district round of the postseason. The Lady Tigers would fall to the Grandview Zebras 3-1.
Addison Wittram was named the District 18-3A Setter of the Year. 
Rayona Runnels finished an impressive season by being named First Team All-District for Malakoff.
Katelyn McCoy and Avery Robinson took home Second Team All-District honors for the Lady Tigers.
Receiving honorable mention honors were D’asia Fulton, Kylee James, Libby Boles and Shaterria Dowell.
The team also performed well in the classroom with nine players named Academic All-District, including Addison Wittram, Rayona Runnels, Katelyn McCoy, Cam Gaddis, Avery Robinson, Shaterria Dowell, Rylann Loper, Kylee James and Alabama Anding.
