The Cross Roads Bobcats varsity cross country teams excel at their recent meet in Mildred. The varsity girls’ squad take home first place. Cassie Turner takes first place overall, Callie Turner takes second place, Lizeth Lopez (12th), Alexis Sudduth (14th), Brook Locke (15th) and Gabby Vazquez takes 50th. The varsity boys’ team places ninth running with 111 others. Gus Bennett takes 18th places, Peyton Marrs (29th), Caiden Lookabaugh (39th), Straight Meyers (81st) and Edgar Izaguirre places 82nd. For the JV girls, Kylie Lofton places 36th and Zee Roberts took 54th places. For the JV boys, Lane Supak places first.
