EUSTACE–The Eustace Lady Bulldogs hosted the Winona Lady Wildcats for a District matchup Oct. 7 during Senior Night.
SET ONE
The Lady Bulldogs were in control of the first set, taking the 10-1 lead before outscoring the Lady Wildcats 15-5 to take the opening game with a 25-6 victory.
SET TWO
Eustace led 10-0 before Winona got their first point to trail 10-1. The Lady Bulldogs extended the lead to 15-1 after a 5-0 run.
At 19-3 in favor of the Lady Bulldogs, the Lady Wildcats trailed 19-5 after two straight points. Eustace went on to win the second set 25-10.
SET THREE
In the third set, the Lady Bulldogs led by as much as 16-2. At 20-3, the Lady Wildcats made it 20-5, but that was it as Eustace scored five of the next six points and won, 25-6 to sweep the Wildcats in three sets.
Eustace continued on to Malakoff for a District rematch against the Lady Tigers Oct. 10.
