MABANK–The Mabank Panthers, following their 2024 Bi-District playoff appearance, posted their list of 14-4A All-District players on the baseball team’s social media page May 4.
Leading the way is the 14-4A Pitcher of the Year, Mabank senior Hagen Tijerina. In addition, freshman Maddex McCrossen is the 14-4A Defensive Player of the Year. Further, Mabank first-team selections include senior Kyler Howeth and sophomore Matthew Ratley.
On the Honorable Mention list for 14-4A is Panther senior Pierce Fulton, as well as senior Cayden Truelove. Also, junior Ty Perkins is All-District Honorable Mention for District 14-4A.
Not only did Panther players receive baseball honors for their play on the field, but the team is also well-represented for their classroom achievements. “We’ve preached all season the importance of being a Student Athlete, and that the first word is the most important, STUDENT!  Congratulations to these eight men on putting an emphasis on their academics this year,” the post on Mabank baseball social media’s page commented.
Panther baseball’s Academic All-District list features Tucker Davis, McCrossen, Cameron Van Horn, Kaden Polish, Brayden Linder, Perkins, Truelove and Fulton.
