March 20, Mabank Lady Panthers soccer heads north to Sunnyvale for their final district game of the season against the Lady Raiders. Mabank took the pitch with intensity, starting fast. This led to an early goal by Jasmine Campa. Addison Stephens came back with another goal for a 2-0 lead. The game was fierce and physical and the Lady Raiders fought back in the second half, scoring two goals. The Lady Panthers pursued and Sara Garcia was able to push through and give MHS a 1-point lead. Defense beefed up and emotions ran high as the clock ran out for a 3-2 Mabank victory. The Lady Panthers finish in second place in district and now focus on the playoffs.
