Body VAN ZANDT COUNTY–According to the Van Zandt County Jail website, Van Zandt County Pct. 1 Commissioner Mitchell James Curtis, 57, was arrested and booked into the Van Zandt County Jail at 8:49 a.m. Dec. 3.

Body KAUFMAN COUNTY–Kaufman County discovered a security breach Oct. 20 affecting certain county systems, according to a Kaufman County press release. The county determined the breach began Oct. 17. The county has determined that some sensitive personal information was breached.
