Body ATHENS–A woman was struck and killed in the early daylight hours of Feb. 15 by what the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) says is a hit-and-run driver that law enforcement division states fled westward toward Eustace.

Body GUN BARREL CITY–A bicyclist was killed Aug. 19 by a hit-and-run driver on the U.S. Highway 175 overpass spanning the State Highway 334 intersection, Gun Barrel City Police Department said. 

Body GUN BARREL CITY–Gun Barrel City Police Department responded to a 911 call July 27 of a major traffic collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian.  The collision occurred in the south Gun Barrel Lane area near Stillwater Street.
