Seven Points convenes after three month hiatus

SEVEN POINTS‑The City of Seven Points City Council met Jan. 8. The temporary city hall had standing room only as this was the first meeting since the council last met Oct. 6, 2025. At that time, the council was unable to agree on a budget. However, they did agree to make payment on work completed at 422 E. Cedar Creek Parkway, where the now-closed Post Office stands.

Tempers flare in Seven Points council meeting

SEVEN POINTS–The city council of Seven Points met for a special meeting called June 26. Tempers flared due to an executive session agenda item. The stated item was a personnel matter concerning police chief Raymond Wennerstrom. 

Seven Points creates Senior Citizen Coalition

SEVEN POINTS–Seven Points City Council met April 10 at the temporary city hall, located at 715 South Seven Points Blvd. (State Highway 274).
The temporary council chamber was created and built within a matter of days by Mayor Keith Betts and friends. The council was able to carry on business as usual in the chamber. 
Council member Valeri Bahm approached the council for the creation of a committee called, “Senior Citizen Coalition.”
