County approves Forest Grove Solar tax deal

HENDERSON COUNTY–Henderson County Commissioners’ Court voted Dec. 13 to enter into a tax abatement agreement with a company that plans to construct a solar electric facility between Athens and Eustace. The agreement only affects county-related taxes, said County Judge Wade McKinney.

County to help build Lakeview Elementary road

HENDERSON COUNTY–Henderson County Commissioners’ Court approved an interlocal agreement with Mabank ISD to use county employees and equipment to assist in building a road at Lakeview Elementary in Gun Barrel City to help with congestion while picking up students Nov. 22.
