HENDERSON COUNTY–Henderson County Commissioners’ Court approved an interlocal agreement with Mabank ISD to use county employees and equipment to assist in building a road at Lakeview Elementary in Gun Barrel City to help with congestion while picking up students Nov. 22.

CEDAR CREEK LAKE–The body of an unidentified individual was reported to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Nov. 25. Individuals reported to dispatch that there was a body floating face down in the water.
Passersby indicate they saw a body recovered from the water located between Lou’s Lou’s and Vernon’s Lakeside on State Highway 334 with HCSO, Texas DPS, ambulances and Texas Game Wardens on scene.
