Body Octabiano Ramirez, 89 of Mabank passed away March 3, 2024 at UT Medical Hospital in Athens. He was bon April 8, 1934 in Ozona to Octabiano Ramirez and Juanita Chavarria Ramirez. Octabiano was a quite gentle man with a big heart and a big smile. He never complained about anything.

Body Norman “Earl” Thompson, 70, of Kemp passed away Feb. 29, 2024, at his home. Earl was born Sept. 11, 1953, in Dallas to Elbis Aaron and Zelma Olivia (Cotten) Thompson.   Norman worked for Certain Teed after high school and then for TxDOT.

Body Frances Marie “Frankie” Phillips, 74, of Kemp passed away Feb. 28, 2024, at her home. Frankie was born Nov. 16, 1949, in Bartlesville, Okla., to Stephen Curtis and Dorothy Mae (Heaton) Hinshaw.   Frankie graduated in Midland as a member of the class of 1967.

Body Funeral services for Deborah Frazier Eubank, 69, of Gun Barrel City, were held March 3, 2024, at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Glosup, and Bro. Jerry Don Groom officiating. Interment followed in Cedar Creek Memorial Park. Deborah passed away Feb.

Body Celebration of life services for Richard Lawrence Diana, 79, of Gun Barrel City were held March 4, 2024, at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.  Richard was born Sept. 21, 1944, in Springville, N.Y. to Phil Diana and Josephine Mildred (Fachitti) Diana.

Body Charles Philip Simpson "Chip", 61 of Gun Barrel City was born June 15, 1962 and passed away Feb. 24, 2024.

Body Arthur Roy Phillips, first a sinner saved by the precious blood of Jesus, as well as a loving husband, father, honey-pappa, brother, uncle, friend and barber, took his seat at the Father's Table Feb. 17, 2024. Roy was born Dec. 19, 1959 in Dallas to Cecil and Dorothy Phillips.

Body Wanda Jean Harrup, 93, of Mabank was born Oct. 4, 1930, and passed away Feb. 9, 2024.  She graduated from Mabank High School in 1947.

Body Janis May Poor, 82, passed away Feb. 13, 2024. She was born to the late Joseph and Juanita Jarvis Jan. 15, 1942, in Dallas. She graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1959.  She married Virgle Poor Dec. 1, 1961, and was blessed with two children Denise and Dusty.

Body Gary Bernard Miller passed away peacefully Jan. 18, 2024. He was quick to lend a hand or to share his wit and his naturally honest smile.  He was a beloved husband and father and a valued member of his church and community. Gary was born in Napa, Calif., Aug.
