Body One of many Texas themed quilts were displayed during the Gun Barrel City Quilters Guild show held April 29 and 30 at the CR Legacy Event Center. This quilt took home the award for First Place Home Machine. It is entitled Texas Cabins and was made and quilted by Carol Fogleman.

Body CEDAR CREEK LAKE–After being reported missing, the body of 71-year-old Vary Sounthivong of Mabank was found in Cedar Creek Lake near Tom Finley Park.  A concerned citizen made the call to law enforcement concerning Sounthivong’s disappearance around 8:30 a.m. April 20.
