On Saturday, March 4, the Kemp Junior High Jr. Stingerettes competed at the Forney Showtime Competition and were named the 2023 Grand Champions. While spreading kindness forward and behind, they earned the following awards: Grand Champions, Sweepstakes Award, Best in Category for two out of three routines, Grand Champion Director, Judges Award and the Phoenix Award went to Madysen Gibson.

Congratulations to Mabank powerlifters Victoria Shepherd (left) and Callie Riley (right) who have now qualified for the state competition after placing in their respective weight classes. Shepherd took first in the 123lbs weight class, and Riley came in second in the 132lbs weight class. Both girls will travel to Frisco on March 17 for the State Powerlifting Meet.
