WILLS POINT–The Mabank Lady Panthers finished the Wills Point tournament 2-2 Dec. 1-3.
The Lady Panthers began the tournament with a win over the Tatum Eaglettes Friday afternoon 49-34.
Mabank followed that up with a tough overtime loss to the Liberty-Eylau Leopards Friday night. After falling behind 24-17 in the first half, the Lady Panthers outpaced the Leopards 29-22 in the second half to send the game to overtime. Mabank went scoreless as the Leopards outscored the Lady Panthers 7-0 to win 53-46.

EUSTACE–After wrapping up their season in the Bi-district round of the playoffs to Whitney, the Eustace Lady Bulldogs announced their All-District and Academic All-District teams for the 2022 season.
Eustace finished the season in second place in their district with a 12-2 record and 23-10 overall.
Lyra Landrum took home Offensive Player of the Year with Bailey Billings being named the Defensive Player of the Year. Emma Bell was announced as the Hitter of the Year for the Lady Bulldogs.
Avery Reeve took home the lone First Team All-District honor.
