Body Charles Daniel"Charlie" WoodardCharles Daniel “Charlie” Woodard, 38, of Mabank, passed away in the line of duty on Saturday, June 27, 2026. He was the husband of Amanda Lynn Perkins Woodard.

Body Services for Monte Kreg Sanders, 55, of Mabank, were held May 29, 2026, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Keith Camp, Peter Gargiulo and Kaci Gray officiating. Interment followed at Cottonwood Cemetery in Eustace.Mr. Sanders passed away May 25, 2026 at his home.

Body It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Lisa Ellen Lackey (Tatum), 64 of Tool who passed away May 18, 2026.Born Dec. 29,1961 in Abilene, she was the daughter of Jane and Jim Tatum. Lisa lived a vibrant life dedicated to her family and her passions.

Body Jackie Ray Hicks of Mabank was born June 30, 1949 to Jessie Hicks and Lillie Mae Baker in Phalba  and passed away May 6, 2026 at the age of 76. He graduated from Mabank High School and later was self employed as a carpenter.

Body James Glen Reasonover went to be with our Savior April 24, 2026. James was born Dec. 29, 1946 and raised on a West Texas farm by his father, Charles Edward and mother, Alta Juanita Cain along with his older brother William and two younger sisters.

Body Donald Gene Garrett, 78, of Payne Springs, passed away April 20, 2026. He was born in Dallas Oct. 28, 1947, to parents E.C. and Shirley (Boren) Garrett.Don’s education journey started at H.

Body Fred Carter, a beloved pillar of the Mabank community, passed away April 10, 2026, at the age of 81.

Body David Henderson, 77, of Mabank passed away April 17, 2026. He was the devoted husband of Debra Henderson for 53 years.Born March 2, 1949, in Greenwood, Miss., David was the son of the late Jim and Letha Henderson.

Body Pamela Jean Whitton Butler, 65, lovingly known as “Grandma,” passed away March 5, 2026. She was born in Tulare, Calif., and had made her home on Cedar Creek Lake since 1992, where she built a life centered on faith and family.
