Mabank golf team wins Wildcat Invitational

The Mabank High School boys’ golf team claims another tournament title, this time Oct. 27 at the Wildcat Invitational, held at Sulphur Springs Country Club. The Panthers were led by junior Cameron Van Horn, senior Gunnar McGilvra, freshman Mateo Main and senior Daltyn Irvin, the latter two of whom tied for fifth place. Next up: the Brook Hill Fall Invitational in Bullard Nov. 17.

Eustace cross country teams win Regionals, move to State

The tradition continues for the Eustace High School cross country program under Coach Josh Sypert, as both the boys’ and girls’ teams win the Regional Championship in Arlington Oct. 20 following both teams' 16th consecutive District championship(s) at that meet in Quitman Oct. 7. The Eustace girls are back-to-back Regional champs while it's the eighth-straight tile for the boys, the team shares on social media.
