Mary Ruth Ramsey Poyner

Body

Mary Ruth Ramsey Poyner passed away March 19, 2023 after a brave hospital stay following heart surgery.
Mary was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., in 1946 to Robert T. Ramsey and Clara Swaner Ramsey. She was the oldest of five children.
Mary met the love of her life Joe Poyner at church and they were married in 1965, enjoying 39 years together before Joe passed away from cancer in 2005.

Mildred “Louise” Boyde Byers

Body

Mildred “Louise” Boyde Byers was born Dec. 14, 1928 in Payne Springs to Johnnie Lee and Eula Belle Chitty Boyde. Louise passed from this life and joined a host of family and friends in heaven March 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving children at the age of 94. 
She attended Payne Springs School and Mabank ISD.  
Louise married her one true love Roy E. (Scooter) Byers Sr. Dec. 14, 1946.

Audrey Adelia Eder

Body

Beloved wife, mother, sister and friend Audrey Adelia Eder of Kemp, passed Feb. 8, 2023, at age 64, after a well-fought battle. Her admirable strength continued to the very end of her beautiful life.
Audrey was born the first day of fall Sept. 23, 1958, in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City, N.Y., to Charles and Eileen Layne. She later moved to Menlo Park, N.J., where she spent her childhood.
She achieved her Associates Degree in Biology from Middlesex County College in New Jersey.

Hayden Lynn Parmelly

Hayden Lynn Parmelly, 87, passed away March 5, 2023 in Mabank. 
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Beacon Church of Christ. 
Hayden was born July 19, 1935 in Dallas to MaryLou (Medaras) and Henry Parmelly.
He was a graduate of Sunset High School in Oak Cliff, Class of 1952. 
Hayden was known as Big Daddy to his loving family and close friends. 
He lived a life of love and service to God and his country. He was a very proud U.S. Marine.

Dennis Lee Custard

Dennis Lee Custard, 84, of Eustace, passed away March 5, 2023. 
He was a caring and devoting husband, father and “Pepaw” who loved spending time with his family. 
Dennis met the love of his life Elvie Marie Dixon in Tulsa, Okla., at a bus station. It was love at first sight, the two were soon married March 30, 1961 and they decided to raise their family in the Dallas area. 
Looking for a quieter life, they later moved to Eustace. Dennis was a bold and tenderhearted man who loved trains and animals, especially his horses and mule.

Mark Kyle Sanders

Mark Kyle Sanders was born Nov. 27, 1962 in Longview.  
He began his career in journalism while still in high school in Kingsville as a reporter for the Beeville Bee-Picayune newspaper. Midway through journalism school at UT-Austin, he received the offer of a lifetime and left college to work for the Houston Post and later the Houston Chronicle for whom he covered state politics in Austin.

Richard Loye Martin

Body

Richard “Dick” Loye Martin of Mabank was born Dec. 19, 1924, at his grandparents’ home in Waldron, Ark. and passed away Feb. 13, 2023. 
He graduated from Fort Smith High School in 1942 and enrolled at Texas A&M and was a member of the Corps of Cadets. After his freshman year, he entered the Army in the summer of 1943.

Rodney Eugene Bevill

Body

Rodney Eugene Bevill, 63, was born Oct. 26, 1959 to Joan Eley and Eugene Bevill in Dallas. He passed away at his home March 2, 2023 in Gun Barrel City.  
He graduated from North Mesquite High School and he was also a volunteer Firefighter for the GBC Fire Dept for seven years. He also graduated from the Police Academy and was a Peace Officer in Seven Points and the City of Tool.

Ronald Repp

Body

Ronald Repp, 77, of Tool passed away peacefully Feb. 25, 2023 at his residence.  He was born in Blue Island, Ill., to James Repp Sr. and Dorothy Berlin Repp. 
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Patricia Repp.
He is survived by children Jodi, Tim (Angie), Robin (Chris), Scott (Sharisse) and Russel (Patricia), numerous grandchildren, brother James Repp Jr., dear friends Irina Kogan, Roger and Bonnie White and his sweet dogs Rudy and Scruffy.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. March 11, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Tool.
