Body The family of Mark Chandler of Scurry is saddened to announce Mark's passing July 24, 1962.  Mark was 61. He fought a hard battle against cancer but is in Heaven now with Jesus.  Mark enjoyed his life with his wife Ruth, dogs Cleopatra and Hercules.  Mark also loved his gardens.

Body Bill passed away July 8 after a brief hospital stay. He was born Oct. 5, 1932, in Beardstown, Ill., to Clarence Elmer Potter and Dorothy Hannah Broeker Potter. Bill graduated from Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio. He studied at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill.

Melba Jean Burt Steele

Body Melba Jean Burt Steele was born Oct. 27, 1940 in Texarkana but grew up in Fort Worth. She passed away May 18, 2024.  She went through LVN training at St. Joseph’s Hospital and went on to receive her RN at Arlington.
