Mary Elizabeth Carreno was born Feb. 23, 1983 to parents Tonja Jo Hall and Donnie Carreno. She entered into eternal rest Sept. 13, 2022. 
Mary Elizabeth “Beth” as she was known to friends and loved ones, was a strong and determined woman. She overcame the trials and tribulations of her younger life and chose the path to life and love with her loved ones.

Jerry Richey

Body

Jerry Richey was born Aug. 5,1954 in Athens and passed away Sept. 18, 2022. 
In his youth, Jerry served in the U.S. Army, stationed in South Korea. He has periodically lived off the grid but for the last eleven years, he lived in Mabank with his partner in life Helle Lauersen.
Jerry was often described as a free-spirited man, a master of all trades with an abundance of God-given talents. This is evidenced by his many projects over the years including building a church, a lodge and a wedding chapel just to name a few.

William Deloren Arnold

Body

William Deloren Arnold entered this world Sept. 12, 1929 and passed on to meet his Maker exactly 93 years on that same date in 2022. Bill was born to Lester Jefferson Arnold and Ottie Mildred Harrison of Eustace. 
Bill graduated from Eustace High School in 1946. He was honorably discharged from the US Naval Reserves, serving from December, 1947 to November, 1955. 
He began working at Vought Aircraft in 1948, located in Grand Prairie (which later became E-Systems). His job assignments took him to Oklahoma, California, Florida, Porta Rico, Ohio and Thailand.

James Donald Wylie

James Donald Wylie, 64, of Mabank passed away Sept. 23, 2022. James was born Oct. 9, 1957 to parents, James Douglas Wylie and Donna Lee Ruff. 
In 1977, James graduated from Mabank High School. On June 12, 1981, James married the love of his life Michele Morris in Kemp. 
He was a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. His time was spent surrounded by his loving family. 
James was an adventurous and undaunted man who loved riding motorcycles, speed boats and fast cars. His diligence and selflessness was dedicated to Solar Turbines in Mabank.

Kathleen Jordan

Body

Kathleen Jordan, 81, beloved wife, mother and grandmother was called to her heavenly home Sept. 16, 2022.
She entered this world March 4, 1941 in Plainwell, Mich., born to William and Martha Kinney.
Kathleen was a member of Aley Methodist Church. She was an animal advocate and volunteered at the Cedar Creek Humane Society for many years. She had a love for horses and spent her lifetime on a horse. She and her husband Phil enjoyed being a part of the square dance group and camping club.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and husband Larry Hale.

Barbara Lee Pierce

Barbara Lee Pierce, 85, passed away Sept. 11, 2022. She was born Dec. 12, 1936, in Gainesville to parents William Lee Shell and Lizybell Ellen Cook Shell.
She enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, watching old TV shows and especially telling Papa what to do. She was a strong, independent and unique woman that will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty Joyce Drain and grandson Jess Dale Wyatt.

Archie D. Edwards

Archie D. Edwards, 90, passed to his Heavenly home Sept. 11, 2022 with his family at his side.
Archie was born Aug. 5, 1932 to Bethel and Maude Edwards in Uncertain Texas.
Archie was a Christian by faith.
Archie retired from Neiman Marcus in 1992 where he started his employment delivering packages in 1952 over Dallas riding a bicycle.  Before his retirement he had suggested that the company start a shuttle run from Dallas to Houston exchanging merchandise via unmarked semi. This remained his position until retirement.

Harold Morris Colvin

Body

Harold Morris Colvin, 88, beloved dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, was called to his eternal heavenly home Sept. 8, 2022.
Harold was one of twelve children born to Warren G. and Jodie F. Colvin born Jan. 19, 1934 in Kemp.
As a young man, Harold grew up in Flagg Lake, learning farming, hunting, fishing and trapping and carried these skills with him to the last day of his life.

Sharon Kay McIninch Horton passed away Aug. 24, 2022. She was born Oct. 18 1952, in Dallas, the daughter of Houston and Joan McIninch.
Sharon graduated from H Grady Spruce High School in Pleasant Grove. She married and had two children she loved more than they will ever know. She was also a proud Nanny and GG. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much.
