Willard Thomas St. Ama

Willard Thomas St. Ama, 89, passed away June 13, 2022 in Arlington. Willard was born March 19, 1933 in Kerens to Rowlan St. Ama and Mary Pauline Collins “Mott” St. Ama. 
He became a Christian at the age of 12 in 1942. Willard married the love of his life, Joyce Loree Rose Nov. 2, 1951. 
He was ordained a Deacon in 1967 at First Baptist Church in Trinidad. Willard became a member of Fielder Church in 1971 when he moved to Arlington.

Janice Carson

Body

Janice Carson, 73, loved wife, mother, grandmother and sister was called to her heavenly home June 5, 2022. She entered this world Oct. 23, 1948 in Joplin, Mo., born to Gene and Corinne Moyer.
Janice was an avid reader. She enjoyed reading Christian books and her Bible. She attended Cedar Creek Church of God in Mabank until her health kept her from going. 
She enjoyed listening to worship music. She avidly cared for animals, especially dogs and cats.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Rebecca Carson.

Chadrick Thomas Henderson

Chad Thomas Henderson was born Aug. 23, 1972. He entered into eternal rest June 12, 2022, long before his loved ones were ready for him to be called home. 
He was a larger than life personality with a heart as big as the Texas Country he loved. Chad was a music enthusiast, with tastes ranging from old to new and everything in between, he attended music events at every opportunity.

Gregory Gardiner Ryan

Gregory Gardiner Ryan, 66, of Tool, passed away June 2, 2022. Gregory was born Dec. 12, 1955 to parents Bernard William Ryan and Eileen Louise Gardiner. 
He was a caring and doting husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. 
Gregory was adventurous and lived each day to the fullest enjoying water skiing, snow skiing and riding in his boat daily. Not only did he have the passion for boating but for cars, motorcycles and planes, as well.

Betty Wommack

Betty Wommack, 92, of Mabank passed away May 29, 2022. Betty was born Dec. 2,1929 in Dallas. 
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Calvin Wommack, son Richard and daughter Pattie.
Betty was very active with her 42 club.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held June 6, 2022 at Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Carol Sue Wagner

Carol Sue Wagner was born to parents Edward Dale Ellard and Rebecca E. (McHand) Ellard Feb. 23, 1951. She peacefully entered into eternal rest May 19, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. 
Carol Sue was an amazing woman with a strong will and a huge heart. She married her best friend and love of her life, Vernon R. Wagner, Sept. 13, 1969. 
Vernon will tell you that Carol Sue’s bullheadedness was his biggest blessing, she dug in and stuck by his side through the good, the bad and all the in between. Together they built a beautiful life and family.

Shirley Rae Huckeba, 86, of Gun Barrel City, passed away May 15, 2022. Shirley was born Oct. 6, 1935 to parents William Etheridge Morris and Neva Nell Lewis. 
She was a caring and doting mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family. 
Shirley was an adventurous and free spirited woman. She loved being on the water, boating and watching her grandson race.

Earl L. McLauchlin

Funeral services for Earl L. McLauchlin, 96, of Mabank were held May 24, 2022 at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home.
Earl passed to his heavenly home May 15, 2022. He was born in March 5, 1926 to Bennie and Jennie Cook McLauchlin in Eustace. 
He served in the Navy during World War II as an Aviation Electronic Technician's Mate at Floyd Bennett Field in New York.

Alice Faye Brown

On May 2, 2022, Alice Faye Brown, 68, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after a brief illness. She was born June 14, 1953, in Troup to Elmer and Beatrice Womick Bates.  
Alice was blessed to have two additional brothers and two additional sisters. During the journey of her life here on earth, Alice had sons Tommy and Jason Miller. Alice married William Irvin Brown July 31, 1986 and added one more son and two daughters to her family.

Glenda Beaty

Glenda Beaty, 79, passed away May 10, 2022. 
She was a resident of the lake area for over 25 years and made many, many friends.
Her career was in the transportation field, working for Mack Trucks and Nissan Diesel in Dallas.
Glenda loved playing cards, watching football and gambling in Shreveport.
She will be missed by all who knew her. 
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents Hazel and Homer Amlin, sisters Jean Wood and Ruth Cockrill and brother Larry Amlin.
