CEDAR CREEK LAKE–Tis the season once again for East Texas football, and schools all over the Cedar Creek Lake area are getting ready. Many have held workouts and camps for future players during the summer, and practices begin July 31.

MABANK–The Mabank Panthers suffered their second straight district loss to the Sulphur Springs Wildcats Oct. 14 at home. Mabank failed to score in the second half of their contest Friday night as they dropped a 28-17 contest to Sulphur Springs.
