WAXAHACHIE–The Mabank Panthers tamed the Life Waxahachie Mustangs in a convincing victory Sept. 23 on the road.
The Panthers moved to even on the year with a 43-19 win over the Mustangs.
The Mustangs opened the scoring just over four minutes into the first quarter to take an early 7-0 lead.
The Panthers answered with a rushing touchdown just a few minutes later to cut the deficit to 7-6 after a failed two-point conversion.

DAWSON–Six touchdowns weren’t enough for the Kerens Bocbats on the road against the Dawson Bulldogs Sept. 16.
Nehemiah Massey had three touchdowns for Kerens in the 62-41 loss Friday night.
Massey finished the night with 34 carries for 203 yards and three rushing touchdowns against the Bulldogs.
Junior quarterback Lane Lynch went 13/30 with 208 passing yards, throwing three touchdowns and one interception in the loss.
