Christopher Troy Rogers, 58, passed away Aug. 9, 2025. Troy was born Jan. 3, 1967, in Aransas Pass, to Chet and Irene Rodriquez Rogers.
Troy started working at a young age as a shrimper and commercial fisherman on numerous boats out of Conn Brown Harbor. He moved to Cedar Creek Lake area, where he became an expert tree specialist.
Troy was tough, fearless, fierce and loving all wrapped up in one man. He never met a stranger and could light up a room with his smile.

Edward Francis Sr. and Helen Lois DeLoach welcomed their son Edward, Jr. (Ed) to the world Jan. 8, 1932, in West Monroe, La. His death Aug. 2, 2025, darkened the skies for those who loved this gentle soul known for his kind heart, an infectious sense of humor, a commitment to church and community, and a passion for fishing and golf.

Kimberly Joy Marshall, a beloved resident of Payne Springs passed away surrounded by loved ones. 
Kimberly was known for her warm heart, adventurous spirit and love of travel and fishing. Her vibrant personality and deep love for her family will be remembered always.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her father Clarence Hargis, mother Joy Hollon, brother Timothy Hargis and other loved ones who welcomed her with open arms.

Gary Michael “Mike” Greenhaw, 72, formerly of Streetman passed away peacefully July 28, 2025, in Moore, Okla., surrounded by loved ones.
Born May 8, 1953, in Dallas, Mike was a son of the late William “Bill” Greenhaw and the late Lavena Shotwell Greenhaw.
After attending high school in Mabank, Mike's passion for hard work led him to build a successful career owning and operating G & G Septic Tanks and Construction in Seven Points.

Billy Ray Fuller, Sr.

Body

Billy Ray Fuller, Sr., passed away peacefully July 20, 2025, in Fort Worth, at the age of 85. He was born Aug. 6, 1939, in Evansville, Ind., to Raymond M. Fuller and Estel M. Williams.
Bill grew up in Indiana and graduated from Newburgh High School in 1957. Shortly after, in 1958, he proudly enlisted in the United States Navy and promptly became a certified Dental Technician. This led him to serve in the Dental Detachment at MCRD - Parris Island, S.C. His service was marked by Good Conduct and National Defense Service Medals, and he was honorably discharged in 1964.

Shirley Ann Harris Richey

Richey passed from this walk of life into the presence of the Lord June 27, 2025. She was born in Pine Mills Oct. 16, 1936, to John G. Harris and Ella Francis (Fannie) Price Harris, the youngest of eight. She attended school in Quitman and graduated in 1955.
She met and fell in love with Roddy Richey and the following year they were married. They lived in Mesquite for many years before moving to the Cedar Creek Lake area in 1972.

Ada Miller Weaver

Ada Miller Weaver was born Nov. 21, 1930 and peacefully passed away July 23, 2025. 
Ada and R.J. lived in Garland until retiring to Cedar Creek in 1992. Ada was an avid golfer and reader. 
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mabank, Cedar Creek Country Club and the Order of Eastern Star. A special thank you to Patty Cave (niece) for her love and support of Ada. 
Ada was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years R. J. Weaver, stepson Ralph Weaver, grandson Jacob Mayfield and parents Dooley and Thelma Miller.

Delores Annette Hardin (Dolo)

Delores Annette Hardin (Dolo) of Mabank, passed away July 3, 2025 at the  age of 78. 
Dolo was born Nov. 28, 1946 in Decatur, Ala., to Charlie and Merline Yancey. She moved to Texas with her family when she was a young girl.
Delores moved to the Cedar Creek Lake area in the 1970s. She worked in the Real Estate Closing business and retired from Colonial Title in 2016.
Delores loved to bass fish. She enjoyed fishing in couples tournaments with her husband and fished the Bassin Gal Tournaments for several years. She won Big Bass in a tournament with an 11 pound bass.

Mary Louise Carter, a cherished wife, mother, Mimi, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully March 19, 2025, at the age of 82.  
Born Jan. 12, 1943, in Malakoff to John and Annie Louise Shumate, Mary was the middle child of nine siblings. Known for her quiet strength, deep love and unwavering faith, she touched countless lives with her warmth and kindness.
In 1961, Mary married her soul mate Fred Carter, embarking on a remarkable journey of over six decades together. Their bond was a shining example of devotion and love.
